I'm in trouble. Next week is our 10th wedding anniversary and I have no idea what to get hubby. He doesn't wear jewerly, and the couple of things I've suggested he doesn't want. He has all the scuba gear he needs, and wants new skis, but he gets a bit whacked at people who step on his skis in line, so I don't want to get him something that stresses him out.

He won't do something like a spa package, I think it would be romantic, he thinks it's creepy. He would just see the random stuff like naming stars as a waste of money. I am at a total loss.
Who does she think she is?

Rent a hotel suite, one with a jacuzzi, for the weekend. Make reservations for dinner at a nice resturant for your anniversary. Find someone to watch the house for the weekend, and enjoy yourselves!!!!! A weekend of relaxation!

if you want to make/give him something, why not get a picture frame that holds a bunch of pix, and make a collage of the 2 of you, from when you first met up until today, and have your wedding picture be in the center.

Oh I like the collage idea! I'm sure if I booked the getaway he'd just fret about how much it cost - ya, one of those. We'll def. be doing dinner somewhere, and I already know what he's getting me too, so it makes it that much harder.

Okay-my guy is totally not a romantic type, at least not in the way were he wants to go to a hotel, or a spa or play or whatever. He is romantic because he never forgets me and gets me little gifts...I especially like the ones I can eat = ) Okay, my d/h really loves gift certificates from Home Depot & Lowes. I know-not romantic, but it's really something that he loves and that he will totally use. Isn't that what being married is about? Making each other happy. Get him something that he will get alot of use of, even if it's not the traditional gift.

Your guy sounds so sweet! I will admit that I was thinking about a biscuit joiner, but it isn't the most romantic thing!

I love the idea. Maybe I'll take him to Canada's Wonderland. It's all about the waterslides *g*

You know it's bad when they greet him by name at the 'pot. *g* Congrats to you guys too! Hubby and I have been together 17 too, he was just a bit slower with the proposal!

Is there a sports team that he is crazy about? Something I have thought about doing in the past for Jay is trying to get tickets to the teams/games he loves.

If he really likes skiing but freaks about people skiing over his skis, maybe instead of getting him new skis, plan a trip for him this winter to his favorite resort during the week when it is not crowded?

I agree about the Home Depot/Lowes thing too that sounds like a good idea. If he is not the romantic type. If he is I like the idea of going away for the weekend and getting a nice room that has the jacuzzi in it. Those are always fun.

I like the ski trip idea! As for the get away, I'd love it, he' worry that it was money we shouldn't be spending *sigh* I can see I have a lot of calling around to do tomorrow.
