Feb. 13th, 2007 @ 08:31 pm Not sure if anyone but a knitter will understand...
In conversation tonight I suggested that hubby should take up knitting, so we could double my output (I'm a bit behind on baby blankets). To this he replied, 'But our tension would be different.'

My heart melts...
Who does she think she is?

I heard it's relaxing, and I've tried it, but I suck at it.

It really does take a while to get the hang of it, but is fun and if you do it in public, knitters and knitter wannabes will come talk to you. Great way to meet peeps.

I think give it a try might be pushing it, but he is very supportive about the whole obsession that is my knitting.

He's a genius! He's found a perfectly legitimate excuse to avoid knitting.

Amazing! He gets it. My husband, OTOH sees knitting as a mystical process that he will never understand.

He's great, he's even gone into woolshops, unprompted, in search of Crystal Palace needles. I think I still manage to scare him a little bit *g*
