Watched 8 Mile today. I was really disappointed. But I guess it was a 50/50 shot. I didn't like LA Confidential, but I loved The Hand that Rocks the Cradle. Too bad that I found it as flat and non-engaging as the former. The only interesting part for me was spotting the other rappers in the show.

In other movie news, I've only seen 2 of the movies on this list: That makes me very happy.

I seem to have an on-going low-grade headache. It kind of feels like my brain is slowly trying to force its way out my eyeballs. I wonder if it's a side-effect of the meds. Definitely strange, and I don't remember it from previous attempts.

Just before Christmas our kitchen tap went on the fritz. It's 38 years old, original to the house, so the only thing that I was really disappointed about was that it didn't last until we re-did the whole kitchen. Earlier this week, hubby disassembled the tap and found out that all the washers were fried. Here's the great part - headed to the 'Po and apparently Delta guarantees all parts of their taps for life! They replaced the washers for free and even told us how to get rid of some of the discoloration on the chrome. I am so impressed.

Hubby has once again proven what a sweetie he is. I'm down to one pair of jeans, and I haven't really felt like going shopping. Last night he was out picking up some stuff and he brought home a great pair of jeans he'd picked up for me.

Damn Sens! You call that an effort? Taping the rest of Hockey Day in Canada, and going to watch Four Brothers. Have a good one.

  • Well then.

It appears I've been neglecting LJ. Turns out I have a pretty good reason. (No not *that* reason - that would be FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC and the post…

  • Every single moment

I woke up early Sunday morning to the pitter-patter of little feet followed by a plea to be helped into bed. I pulled her up and she quickly snuggled…
