I have lost all touch with sanity and have signed up for The Yarn Harlot's Knitting Olympics. It is a pretty cool knit-along, in that you get to decide what your 'event' is. You pick the project that will challenge you during the 16 days the Olympics are played. I've decided to do two of Debbie Bliss' Lace and Bobble Throws from Cotton Knits for all seasons. They are only just over 26" each, and it will get the gifts for another set of twins out of the way *g*.

I can't cast on before 2pm PST on the 10th (I'm going to be in Victoria then, so this should be interesting.) I'm ready to go now. I've got the yarn, and have swatched.

Training for me will consist of F'ing my O's *g*. (finishing my objects - incomplete projects are UFOs - oh nevermind *g*) I have noticed a disturbing trend with my sock making. I will complete the first sock, start the second, turn the heel, then abandon the project. I have finished up one abandoned foot tonight, and am working on my second now (3rd is waiting patiently by my side) This not only leads to a lack of comfy socks, but a huge collection of DPNs! I must have 20 sets between 2.5 and 3mm, tied up in partially complete socks.
