Fantastic night last night. Went out for the stag of a co-worker, started off with dinner at the Keg, then headed over to the Whiskey Bar. She of course had the required veil, tiara and sign (ball and chain, buy me a drink and I can't remember what the third said).

She also had to collect 7 'lucky mementos' of the evening. Took her quite a bit of persuasion (read: many shooters) to get over her shyness, which surprised me. We started having to drag her around to different guys and do the asking for her. We weren't having much luck until we ran into this soccer team from Toronto. They were a hoot, and more than game to help her finish her list, and get her up dancing, and keep her there. Our entire group had a blast dancing with them, and we ended closing the place down. They apparently had a game at 10 and another at 1 this aft, wonder how the heck they're going to make out! I managed to drag myself out of bed at 9:30 this morning, so got 6 hours sleep.

Have I mentioned how much I like dancing? I'd kinda forgotten until about 3 years ago at a company party, when I ended up dancing the entire night - till 5 the next morning. Since then haven't managed to get out as much as I'd like, but with reminders like that!

Funny - the hardest item to collect was a penny from the year she met her fiance. Apparently no one carries cash anymore!
