Last October, the company got approval to raise the rate from .35 to .43. We are getting a rebate of .019 cents right now, so we're paying around .41/m3.
The rates are reviewed every 3 months and set for 3 months out. So while we are currently seeing a spike, the winter was warmer than expected, and not that much gas was consumed continent-wide. The rates have already been dropped for April, but the weasels are trying to lock us in at the panic rates that we'll be getting a refund for anyways.
They then tried to tell us that 5 years ago we were paying only .05/m3. Well surprise, surprise, I keep everything for 7 years. I looked it up, we were paying .28
