Well wouldn't you know it. I get ready to leave beautiful, warm, sunny Victoria (I kid you not - the trees are blooming, rose bushes are growing - did they not hear it's February?) and I check my flight status. Hmm, looks like lots of Ottawa flights are getting cancelled, better check the airline - CANCELLED!

The lab manager sent me this picture - it is looking out our office at the ScotiaBank Place:




It should look like this (well the building now says ScotiaBank Place instead of Corel Centre):




So I'm stuck here and I'm going to make the best of it *g*. I'm off to do some sightseeing for the afternoon, and finding a good restaurant for dinner. I tried to get the flight out that leaves at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon, but am on a 7:30am flight instead.

This is a beautiful town, I'll try to snap some pics this aft.
