Earthquake!

Last night I was working away in the basement and hubby was watching TV. The house rattled a bit, but we didn't think too much of it, we live across the street from a railway track. 5 minutes later my mom called, followed by his dad (who are no where near rail lines); it turns out it was a magnitude 4.5 earthquake.

Last week when I was in Vic (pacific north - they're a bit more frequent there) we were talking about how often the get quakes and all the extra care that is put into construction out there. Apparently one followed me home *g*
