Dinner with the family

Our family had dinner with my father's twin brother's family this evening. We went to The Amber Garden, a Polish restaurant (and region) in town. It was the first time I had been there. I was looking forward to cavabcice, but they hadn't made any that night. I ended up with a schnitzel which was yummy. We sat at the end of the table near Aunt Sharon and Ash, their foster child. Hubby had a good time talking to him about guitar playing, music in general and his interests. I could tell that Bill was looking for some ideas for a gift to get him. Sure enough he started talking going to a local music store to get him some little something. My younger cousin and her family weren't able to make it, but my older cousin, her husband, and their 3 children were. They were amazingly well behaved, to the point that the staff were commenting on it. My cousin recently moved back from the US, to a home near her parents. It sounds like she is pretty into knitting, spinning and sewing, we have to talk soon *g*.
