A picture really is worth it...

The school where hubby works had a new boiler installed and the entire job has been a true clusterf&*k. Yesterday hubby noticed a huge build-up of ice on the stack. He requested that the shop send in a cherry-picker to knock the ice off. Not only is there a huge danger posed to the students, but really, it's a chimney there shouldn't be icicles hanging from it.

The board's liason/project manager replied, asking if a custodian couldn't just climb up and knock the ice away, to which my husband sent the following picture:

Please pay very close attention to the 8' ladder. The ice appears to be slightly out of reach. There is a 10' ladder on site, but he's not sure it will be much more help.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Sure, you started off all full of hope and promise and cheer. In January there was my brother’s wedding…
