Foster update

Well, things are progressing slowly. I had a chat with the rescue sponsor the other day, and she forwarded me a picture of the little girl (below). She also put me in contact with the current foster mom (they are going away and need to find a new foster), but I haven't heard from her yet. I've just sent off an email asking for a contact time, I can't wait to meet Sasha, and have Chet meet her too. She looks like an complete sweetheart.

Apparently, everyone is fooled into thinking she is a Malamute by her head and the way she photographs, but when you meet her, you realize she is mostly Husky:




ETA: For those that are curious about the differences, here are the breed standards:
