Had a great crop last night. Six people, which is a nice size. They were so enthusiastic too. One girl brought her 2 month old, I got to spend a LOT of time holding her so mommy could work on her scrapbook. I've really got to get off my butt about expanding this little endeavour.

So while I feel good about that I would still kill for a good night's sleep. Doesn't matter if I go to bed at 9:30pm or 2am, come 6:30 I feel like hell. Hubby even slept downstairs last night to see if that would make a difference (he tosses and turns a lot). Sadly it didn't, although I guess thats a good thing - I wouldn't want to only be able to get a good sleep if we slept apart!

I think we'll go mattress shopping very soon.

J: Okay - make sure you're all good with DB2, SQL, javascript, and IM

me - no problem!

I love my boss, he just came by and said 'I thought you were going home?'. I told him 20 min ago I didn't feel like being here anymore. Its so cool to work in a place that knows you get your work done and allows you to it in the hours you choose.

(Of course he knows I'll be VPN'd in for 5 hours tonight *g*)

Actually we get along really well - we have a very similar sense of humour - I'd compare it to that of a 14-year old boy. We can often be heard doing our Beavis and Butthead impersonations or quoting some flash geek website.

Best dinner ever!

As I was leaving work tonight I got a call from hubby asking where my favorite pho place is as he was in the neighborhood. After picking myself up, I managed to get him to the restaurant, tell him my fav (#38 from Pho Bo Ga on Lebreton N. if you're ever in Ottawa) and give him a few suggestions for his own soup. Half an hour later it appeared and we both managed to eat way too much. And it appears he enjoyed it!

May not sound like much, but hubby is a meat and potatoes guy who only likes 'regular' food (don't even get me started on he'll order for Chinese food!) I've been bugging him for at least 5 years to try it and yet, tonight, out of the blue he did! And it didn't kill him. He's the bestest.
