I'm Canadian. I talk about the weather. Deal.

I had to laugh at the Henny Pennys that were panicking about the forecast for rain today. Oh it rained alright, it was just white and fell really slowly to the ground, and accumulated with the other 3 or so feet of it we still have hanging around!

If we still had a baseball team in town they'd be scheduled to start this week! I guess they packed it in just in time.

I am grateful for the white stuff. It means there are very few wild beasties out there trying to kill me. The poisonous, stinging, flying, scuttling, slithering varieties are apparently the delicate sort; prefering a milder clime. The raging, fur covered, fanged varieties sleep for at least a third of the year. Sure, they wake up a bit peckish, but wouldn't you?

It also means a very low incidence of deadly weather. We've already established that no one is dying in a heat wave, with the added bonus of no hurricanes, tornadoes, and based solely on geography, a dearth of earthquakes and tidal waves.

Life, with a snowblower, is grand.
