My shift to winter sewing is going slower than it should. It saddens me to think that I won't be making any more cute little sun dresses or short sets for the next 8 months, time to focus on the cords, denim, know what those fabrics need? Embroidery! Of course you know what I don't need? To spend a couple of grand on an embroidery machine. So the hunt for cute fabrics and combinations continues.

I suppose I should also get knitting again. There's enough of a chill in the air that having the work in progress on my lap will actually be comforting. Of course the challenge there is to knit without V coming up and ripping it out of my hands with a, 'baby!' Resulting in me curled up in a ball crying in the corner. It's too bad she's tall enough to crawl out of the pack-n-play, or as we affectionately called it, baby jail.

And just because I don't have enough gadgets kicking around the house, I'm seriously considering investing in a pressure canner. Any of you garden bountiful types out there have any advice? I would love to be able to set my veg away next year, that is once I get the garden re-org done.
