I'm totally spoiled by my PVR. I rarely pay attention if I'm watching a show anymore, I sort of half-listen and if something catches my ear I rewind and actually pay attention. I never have to worry about being around to watch something, I tape and watch when I want. I can pause whatever I'm watching to go get a snack, talk about whatever popped into my mind, and I can skip commercials! I've even recorded enough cooking shows that I'd feel confident throwing out all my cook books *g*. You know, all the usual reasons for loving a PVR.

I find myself wishing that I had a PVR for the car radio (yes we have a Radio Shark at home) and on occasion I've wished I could rewind live conversations. But I think I've taken it too far. I realized tonight we were 'fast forwarding' Time Warp.
