We are getting so much rain lately I'm beginning to think this city isn't high enough above sea-level (79m). I can't remember the last time we had a day in which it didn't rain at some point (at least since before Canada Day!) and the long term forecast is predicting that it's going to rain until next Thursday...but that means both that it's supposed to be sunny for the weekend and that it's during my holidays so we all know that won't happen.

The weather, my flat iron and my hairdresser have conspired and managed to convince me that I should be trying to embrace my hair's 'waviness' rather than trying to fight it. So dry, damaged hair was chopped and layered today, flat iron was sent to semi-retirement, of course it rained; and I have the biggest, poofiest hair I've seen since I looked in a mirror in early 90s. I swear it wasn't like that when I left the salon today, it was like watching a cake rise in the oven, only not a cake, and on top of my head! I'm not sure how I'm going to tame this new, post-baby freaky hair, but clearly more product is required. Either that or shaving my head, but I'm confident that would freak V out completely.
