Dear astronomy professor:

If you decide that one of the questions for last week's quiz was improperly worded, please at least have the kindness to post a note on the bulletin board for the class that our marks will go from 20/20 to 19/20 and that we will be finally graded on /19 rather than removing the answer from everyone's tests. I *knew* I answered that question first off, and secondly I knew I answered it correctly. I also knew that when I received my grade last Thursday it was different from the one that was displayed tonight.

Really, it doesn't take much to tip the scales, work with me!
