They call this good government?

David Dingwall resigns from the Canadian Mint on September 29th over his spending. Now the government is negotiating a severance package for his voluntary retirement, apparently over fears he will sue. This is a man that took illegal money for his lobbying efforts, causing his client to repay Ottawa, thats right, he kept the money and the firm was out of pocket again. And his track record as a lobbyist is far from clean, considering he cost another client millions of dollars in grants when he failed to register as required by federal law. Makes sense to me that they would appoint him as head of the Royal Canadian Mint. I mean look at his track record while he was Minister of Public Works.
